I've moved.....again.

Often times life will throw you something unexpected in life. Sometimes these things happen so often that it no longer becomes surprising when they come about. For me, the chosen event is moving.
I've moved two times in almost as many months. That doesn't include the previous five times I've moved in my life.

My current/updated location is none other than my hometown of Kooskia Idaho! Small, in its aggregation of houses, scattered local shops, two banks, three restaurants, two bars, and a multitude of other cliche rural establishments, Kooskia is home and shall remain so for good reasons. It's small population(A whopping 672 people as of the 2010 census) makes things more personal and much, much quieter than Coeur d'Alene.

Here are some samples of Kooskia scenery from various seasons. As I am in the process of unpacking, my external hard drive is still buried so I have to use these photos instead of my first choice. But they do a good job depicting Kooskia in the winter and late summer.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

New look and Office Tip #1.

Welcome to the new look!

Ok, well, I only really changed the background...but I think that's all it needed.
I hope you enjoy it!

OFFICE TIP #1...

Use coasters when a beverage is present on a desktop or other wood surface, even if the beverage is cold. You'll save trouble and avoid any damage to your office furnishings.
A coaster can be anything that sits between the bottom of a mug/glass and a surface. A good magazine, piece of wood, your phone(Or try an actual coaster)....all of these will prevent liquid from reaching your desktop. Although, disclaimer, you should only use the first two.

I hope you found this Office Tip useful!

This concludes our broadcasting day.

Blog Update.

Projects, projects, projects!!
Pre-note: This is an overview/preview. See my other blog MAT21stC for the full updates at their future publishing dates, as most of these subjects will involve specific details that belong over there.

Hi guys! I have a lot to update you on so I'll jump right into it.

#1: I have a new cellular device! HTC One M9. Which means you can expect a review within the next 6 months.

#2: I am finalizing hardware preparation for an exciting Linux project. I have little experience in this area so it shall be a real treat! I'll be sure to keep you all updated.

#3: I have a flickr account, which documents(Slowly) my life in photos. You can find that Here. Mostly nature shots with the occasional coffee cup. But not too many...I promise.

#4: Ok, this one is huge and I can't really say much about it....but it involves two to three microphones, a comfortable seat and a guest(s) every other week with interesting subject matter. Get excited!

#5: In lieu of my new projects, I've needed efficient space and equipment/furnishings for my office. I'll be posting small office organization/improvement tips here and there.

#6: Last but definitely NOT least...I hope to start sharing my scriptural journey with you all as I work my way through life.

I don't have much else at the moment, but I'm very excited for this upcoming year!

Remember to contact me with any questions about what I do and how I do it!
E-mail in my bio.

Have a blessed day!

I've moved!

Hello everyone! You all know by now that I'm horrible at keeping up with me blog so I'm pretty much not worrying about it at this moment. I just got in the creative mood this morning after realizing that sitting around playing video games or watching netflix on my day off probably isn't very good for me. So I resorted to sitting on my butt again and writing this blog. Lets enjoy this together.

December 21st 2014 is the day I packed up my items and drove to Coeur d'Alene to start my new life.
My main reason for the move was a better work opportunity but there were other factors as well,

Coeur d'Alene is a beautiful place with lots of wonderful sights and attractions, for locals AND tourists. From coffee shops to get caffeinated at, to beautiful parks to walk in, CDA has it all.

Coeur d'Alene lake, which is practically attached to the city is a great place for swimming, fishing or enjoying a nice afternoon on the yacht. If you have money like that. Or if you found a yacht with the keys still in it. Oh hey, why are the police here?

Anyway...Coeur d'Alene. My second home.

My places of work are both amazing and frustrating at the same time.

#1:
Staples: The Office Superstore. This is my primary place of work where I am a certified technician, or "EasyTech Associate" as I am so lovingly called. That and "Hey you", or "excuse me, let me interrupt your other customer to ask you a question". Don't get me wrong, 90% of my customers are the nicest and most considerate people in existence. But we do have our bad eggs. Every day.
My job as an EasyTech is basically to take care of customer computer/technology needs and everything else that needs to be done. We're basically the Gophers of Staples. I build muscle this way. So I win.

#2:
 Lutherhaven Ministries.
As an Outdoor Education Camp Counselor(In May/October-September) and Hospitality Staff(ALL THE TIME), I stay busy. I work at LH whenever I am not turning the corporate wheels of "Paperclips Inc."
OE Counselors basically teach classes about the outdoors as well as take part in running the operations of camp; running meals, arranging events, lighting campfires, etc.
Hospitality staff does anything involving cleaning and making sure visiting groups have everything they need. I love it. I win again.

                                                         ________________________
Enough about work, here's a little bit about what's happening right now. I am currently on "Vacation", meaning I took 7 days off to work for my dads business. And it feels amazing to be home. I took a picture too.

It's getting late...good night everyone!

A letter to myself and those disconnected.

No one tells you "Oh life will be so easy when you graduate high school!" or "Pssh, its a piece of cake". The truth is, life is hard, relationships are hard, being financially stable is hard, heck, even maintaining relationships with people you've known your entire life can be hard.
All of these things take an enormous amount of responsibility to manage and without proper guidance, they can fall apart much MUCH quicker than you might believe possible.

"BE CAREFUL"...Is all I have to say to you. Don't let yourself get disconnected or so absorbed in whatever struggle you're going through that you lose touch with those around you and/or the ability to see what really matters in life. Did you know that the people in your life, whether they be friends, family, loved ones, etc, are there for you? That includes the tough parts of life. The trials. There are so many. SO many....you think its overwhelming? It can always be worse. Be thankful its not. And be thankful you have people around you to help you get through everything.

If you think you DON'T have anyone, look around you. Make a mental list of people who have been in your life the longest. Can you trust them? If not, why? Its time to start trusting someone and those people are your best bet. Approach them. Tell them you need help with something you're struggling with. The rest falls into place.

This post is pretty much a rant and I'm only kind of sorry for it being so harsh. Sometimes people just need to hear things this way.

I hope someone got something positive from this. If there is any one thing I would want someone to get out of it...it would be this: DON'T GIVE UP and don't be afraid to learn. Question everything but know what you believe and why.

That is all.

A Reborn.

UPDATE August-September 2013

Good day!

I know, I know...I haven't written anything in a while...well, I actually have, but I haven't posted anything...
Remember when i said I'd be posting my experience at Inspire Conference? I am ALMOST done with that...it's just taking longer than I thought(You know...2 months...).
To be honest, I'm not sure if I WILL post it...it all depends on timing really. That and other stuff.

So lately, work has been picking up the pace, you know, only a little....(I actually mean a LOT).
I have been installing mobile radios in fire engines all of the region as well as installing base stations for city halls, ambulance sheds, fire stations, etc. so I've been traveling a lot.

Besides that, I FINALLY have my studio/office/etc set up! It WAS my bedroom but it has no bed and it serves more of a purpose as an office so its my OFFICE. And I like it that way.
Here are pictures...however horrible.

So yeah, I'll probably work on my Inspire post this Friday when I'm on the plane...(I'll explain soon!)

Later!

Headcount!

Good evening y'all! This will be a very short post(or so I say...), I just want to see how many consistent readers I have. I know some of you are probably thinking "I'm not telling this guy that i read his blog! That would be weird...". Well, guess what, I know that in however many years I've had this blog, I have had 1003 views as of this morning. So I know you are out there! :) And THANK YOU so much for reading or just skimming through. At least you came. :)

Anyway, I just wanted as many of you who consistently read my blog to let me know in the comments below so I know if I'm reaching anyone. If I'm not, I may write less(if even possible) to concentrate on my music...if there are a few of you, I'll write more. The more who read, the more I'll write. Sound fair? I hope so.

So in a summary that could have been thrown in at the BEGINNING of this post, I just want to get an idea of how much I need to write down the road.

Let yourselves be heard, people! :)

Goodnight, its time for me to vamoose. Dinner calls. Can't resist, won't resist. Don't try and convince me. It's FOOD for goodness sake....goodnight...

^_^
